Uzbekneftegaz and CCDC Deepen Energy Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Abdulgani Sanginov, Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz, led a delegation on a working visit to China, commencing with discussions with the leadership of CCDC, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The agenda focused on advancing their strategic alliance, executing collaborative ventures, and broadening cooperation within the oil and gas industry.
The meeting addressed strategies to expedite ongoing joint investment projects and pinpointed key areas for future collaboration. Both sides acknowledged the continuous growth of cooperation between Uzbekneftegaz and Chinese firms, aligning with efforts to bolster business relations between Uzbekistan and China.
It was noted that multiple meetings with CNPC management earlier this year had yielded agreements designed to further develop the partnership. Current cooperative efforts encompass import contracts, service agreements, and joint investment projects.
A significant point of discussion was the response to the emergency at the M-25 field. Participants examined the technical and organizational facets of the project, alongside measures to accelerate work according to the established timeline. Both parties reiterated their commitment to promptly and fully meet financial obligations under existing agreements.
During the visit, the delegation received a presentation on CCDC's digital and intelligent solutions for oil and gas engineering. The Chinese company showcased an automated drilling system, a real-time production monitoring and management platform, and smart technologies for overseeing industrial safety and labor discipline compliance.
The meeting concluded with both parties expressing a desire to further solidify their strategic partnership, expand high-tech joint projects, and integrate modern digital solutions to boost production efficiency and advance the digitalization of drilling operations.
