Uzbekistan has allocated over UZS 9.1 trillion for healthcare services in the first five months of 2026.
As reported by the National Statistics Committee, this amount reflects a 14.7% rise compared to the same timeframe last year.
Medical and dental services comprised 16.8% of the overall healthcare services, while hospital services accounted for 20%. The remaining 63.2% was made up of various other healthcare-related services.
During this five-month span, Tashkent led in healthcare service volume with UZS 4.2 trillion, followed by the Tashkent region at UZS 862.1 billion and the Samarkand region at UZS 694.1 billion.
The Fergana region came in fourth with UZS 593 billion, followed by the Andijan region with UZS 428.9 billion and the Namangan region with UZS 415 billion.
Healthcare service volumes in other regions included: Bukhara region – UZS 353.9 billion, Khorezm region – UZS 335.9 billion, Kashkadarya region – UZS 332.7 billion, Surkhandarya region – UZS 238.4 billion, Jizzakh region – UZS 221.3 billion, Syrdarya region – UZS 169.7 billion, the Republic of Karakalpakstan – UZS 158.6 billion, and Navoi region – UZS 157.9 billion.
