Uzbekistan and South Korea Explore Enhanced Mining Collaboration

Feruza Khamidova, Uzbekistan’s First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, held discussions with Won Do-yon, South Korea's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, and Kang Sangjin, Director of the KEXIM Bank Representative Office in Uzbekistan.

The meeting focused on the existing strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and South Korea, alongside potential avenues for future collaboration within the mining and geology sectors.

Discussions also covered accelerating preparations for forthcoming joint initiatives, with both sides reiterating their dedication to the ongoing advancement of mutually beneficial cooperation.
