Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, conducted focused discussions with Rashid Meredov, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in Ashgabat.
The Uzbek foreign ministry chief noted that the two sides engaged in an in-depth conversation regarding the enhancement of the Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership, the practical execution of agreements made at the highest levels, and the ongoing development of their political dialogue.
The meeting emphasized the importance of increasing collaboration in areas such as trade, economy, transport and logistics, energy, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and cross-border relations. Furthermore, the ministers coordinated their stances on significant regional and international matters.
At the conclusion of the talks, both parties reiterated their dedication to fostering close cooperation to strengthen neighborly ties, ensure stability, and advance sustainable development in Central Asia.
