**Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia Engage in Discussions on Labour Migration and Bilateral Ties**

Uzbekistan's Deputy Foreign Minister, Olimjon Abdullayev, met with Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed, to deliberate on advancing bilateral cooperation, including the critical area of labour migration.

The encounter, which took place on July 22, 2026, saw the two officials review the current status of Uzbekistan-Saudi Arabia relations and explore avenues for further expanding their collaborative efforts.

A key focus of the discussions was placed on strengthening cooperation in consular and legal affairs, with the aim of creating more advantageous conditions for citizens of both countries. Practical collaboration in the field of labour migration also received significant attention.

Participants underscored their shared interest in adopting digital solutions to enhance the efficiency of consular services and improve cooperation mechanisms within
