Uzbek and Kazakh Foreign Ministers Hold Talks on Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov convened with Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional engagement.

According to Uzbekistan's chief diplomat, both parties acknowledged the robust strategic partnership and allied relations between their respective nations. Saidov underscored that the close and trusted dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan provides a solid bedrock for the continued advancement of cooperation across all sectors.

During their meeting, the ministers reviewed key issues on the bilateral agenda. They stressed the importance of the timely and effective implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest levels. The two sides also exchanged perspectives on cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and addressed various regional and international issues.
