Uzbekistan's Mining Sector Surpasses 42 Trillion Soums in Output

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) –– Data from the National Statistics Committee indicates that Uzbekistan's industrial production for January–June 2026 was dominated by the manufacturing sector, which produced 549.7 trillion soums, making up 86.3 percent of the total industrial output.

During the same period, the mining and quarrying sector recorded a production value of 42.4 trillion soums, contributing 6.7 percent to the overall industrial output.

The electricity, gas, steam supply, and air conditioning sector generated 41.7 trillion soums in goods and services, accounting for 6.5 percent of the total volume.

Meanwhile, the water supply, sewerage, waste collection, and disposal sector's output reached 3.3 trillion soums, representing 0.5 percent of the industrial production structure.
