Uzbekistan expands cooperation on US H-2A program
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —
The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan has signed a cooperation agreement with another American recruiting company specializing in the placement of foreign workers in the agricultural sector. The document provides for the training and placement of Uzbek citizens for seasonal agricultural work in the United States under the H-2A visa program.
The migration agency said that the agreement is aimed at expanding cooperation in the field of organized labor migration and further increasing the opportunities for Uzbek citizens to work legally.
Within the framework of the project, the parties plan to develop training programs taking into account the requirements of American employers, organize English language and vocational training courses for candidates, introduce a system of practical skills assessment and joint certification, as well as create transparent mechanisms for selecting and sending workers.
In accordance with the agreements reached, the Migration Agency will select candidates, prepare them in accordance with US labor legislation and working conditions, and ensure the timely return of Uzbek citizens to their homeland after the completion of seasonal work.
According to the agency, preliminary orders from American employers to attract seasonal agricultural workers, as well as information on the procedure for registering candidates, will be published on the Migration Agency's Telegram channel "Work Abroad".
