During the visit of Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, to the Republic of India, a meeting was held with the management of Cadila Pharmaceuticals, one of the country's leading pharmaceutical companies.
During the negotiations, the prospects for creating modern pharmaceutical production capacities in Uzbekistan, localization of drug production, introduction of advanced technologies and implementation of investment projects were discussed.
The company representatives were also provided with detailed information about the capabilities of the "BioPharma City" pharmaceutical cluster, the favorable conditions created for foreign investors, as well as the opportunities provided for establishing joint production and implementing high-tech projects.
The parties exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects within the framework of "BioPharma City", the development of production infrastructure, the introduction of international quality standards and expanding cooperation in technology transfer.
