During his visit to India, Abdulla Azizov, Head of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held talks with the management of Cadila Pharmaceuticals, one of India's leading pharmaceutical companies.

According to the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, the parties discussed potential joint projects in the pharmaceutical sector.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of establishing modern pharmaceutical production facilities in Uzbekistan, localizing drug production, introducing advanced technologies, and implementing investment projects.

Representatives of Cadila Pharmaceuticals were provided with detailed information about the BioPharma City pharmaceutical cluster, the conditions created for foreign investors, and the prospects for establishing joint ventures and implementing high-tech projects.

In addition, participants exchanged views on the implementation of joint initiatives based at BioPharma City, the development of production infrastructure, the introduction of international quality standards, and the expansion of cooperation in the field of technology transfer.
