Uzbekistan Communication Services Reach 51.9 Trillion Soums
The volume of communication and information services in Uzbekistan reached 51.9 trillion soums in the first half of 2026, rising 22.1 percent year-on-year.
Uzbekistan's communication and information services generated 51.9 trillion soums between January and June 2026, marking a 22.1 percent rise from the corresponding period last year, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
Computer programming services represented the largest segment, reaching 25.1 trillion soums over the first half of the year. Telecommunication services contributed 14 trillion soums, while information services amounted to 8.6 trillion soums. The remaining communication and information services collectively accounted for 4.3 trillion soums during this period.
