Navoi city administration has issued a statement regarding photos of a neighborhood "improved" with the help of artificial intelligence.

The use of artificial intelligence technologies in photos of improvement works carried out in the "Hayot" neighborhood in Navoi city has caused protests on social networks. This was reported by the press service of the Navoi city administration.

According to the report, the responsible employees were negligent in the process of preparing and posting materials for social networks. In order to present the changes in the neighborhood in a more visual and high-quality format, artificial intelligence elements were used in the design process, and these materials were published without verification.

The administration apologized for this situation and the reasonable objections that arose from the public, and stated that the employees responsible for preparing the materials had been warned.

It is noted that a number of practical works have actually been carried out to improve the living conditions of the population in the "Hayot" neighborhood. In order to show that the results are not artificial, but real, real (unprocessed) photos and videos of the area today were attached to the official statement.
