Chinaz District Hokim Proposes "Shame Houses" for Poor Upkeep

Chinaz District Governor Sherzod Solikhov has put forward a proposal to label mahallas and individual residences with a "shame" designation if their landscaping and upkeep are found to be substandard.

During a review meeting concerning the Birlik mahalla, the district leader expressed dissatisfaction with the progress made in enhancing the area. He noted that despite the Birlik mahalla's designation as a priority zone by the regional governor due to its roadside location, an inspection uncovered multiple deficiencies.

The district governor's office reported that the mahalla lacked planted flowers and basil, unmowed grass, and uncleared cut vegetation. The efforts in landscaping, sanitation, addressing citizen complaints, and fulfilling prior directives were also deemed inadequate.

Subsequent to the meeting, Sherzod Solikhov symbolically branded Birlik mahalla a "shame mahalla" and ordered the placement of a visible sign to that effect.

Leaders of businesses and organizations overseeing the mahallas were directed to personally oversee their respective areas, expedite beautification efforts, and consistently provide photographic evidence of completed assignments.

Furthermore, the governor indicated that "Shame House" signs might be affixed to individual homes if their owners neglect to rectify their property's condition promptly.

Following the gathering, responsible officials were instructed to swiftly address the identified issues, enhance their operational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with the given directives.
