Pakhtakor signs Iranian national team player Murtaza Puraliganji

Pakhtakor has signed Iranian national team player Murtaza Puraliganji.

According to the club's press service, experienced Iranian defender Murtaza Puraliganji has signed a contract with Pakhtakor until the end of this year.

The 34-year-old has played for Iran's Naft and Persepolis, China's Tianjin and Shenzhen, Qatar's Sadd and Arabi, and Belgium's Jupp Heynckes. He has played nearly 300 games for the club.

He has also played 54 times for the Iranian national team, scoring 3 goals. Puraliganji was a key player for the national team at the 2018 and 2022 World Cup finals.

Murtaza Puraliganji joined Pakhtakor as a free agent from Persepolis.
