Uzbekistan international Jahongir Urozov joins Rubin Kazan

FC Rubin Kazan, a team in the Russian Premier League, has confirmed the acquisition of Uzbek international defender Jahongir Urozov. The club announced on its official website that Urozov joins on a loan agreement from FC Dinamo Samarkand.
The 22-year-old center-back is set to stay with the Kazan-based club until the close of December 2026. He has been allocated the number 13 jersey and is anticipated to join the first-team squad right away, in preparation for the forthcoming league matches.
Urozov comes to Russia with a growing international reputation, following a notable summer season with the Uzbekistan national football team.
In an official welcome statement, FC Rubin Kazan remarked, "Jahongir is a player for the Uzbekistan national team. This summer, Urozov participated in the World Cup with the national side. Welcome!"
Financially, this transfer marks a considerable achievement for the young defender. Sources familiar with the deal indicate that Urozov is expected to receive a substantial salary of €450,000 for the season, underscoring his importance as a crucial addition to Rubin Kazan's defense.
