Manchester City could sign a Liverpool player to replace Rodri if he leaves.

Manchester City are reportedly looking to sign Liverpool midfielder Alexis McAllister in the summer transfer window if Rodri leaves the club.

According to Matt Thielen, Manchester City have contacted McAllister's agents to discuss a possible move for the 27-year-old. McAllister is one of the main candidates to replace Rodri, who is expected to leave the club.

TEAMtalk insider Graham Bailey claims that Rodri would prefer to move to Barcelona rather than Real Madrid. The Spaniard has reportedly ended talks with the Madrid club. The 30-year-old's current contract with City expires in the summer of 2027 and he has no intention of extending it.
