A preventive inspector in Jizzakh was accused of using force against a woman.

A statement was made in Jizzakh regarding the use of force by a prevention inspector against a woman. Pre-investigation actions are being conducted regarding the incident that occurred in a "vigilance center" in the Forish district of the Jizzakh region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

Videos of a woman arguing and an Internal Affairs officer using force against the girl and holding her down on the ground were circulated on social networks, causing widespread discussion. According to official information, on August 5, at around 9:30 p.m., the Department of Internal Affairs received a call from restaurant workers at the "Oqtepa" MFE in the Forish district. It was reported that a group of drunken individuals were causing disorder and fighting, not paying for the ordered meals.

The prevention inspectors and employees of the Security Department who arrived at the scene of the incident performed the task of maintaining public order. However, one of the offenders (a woman with a previous conviction) continued the fight without complying with the legal requirements of the employees, so she was medically examined in accordance with the established procedure and placed in a temporary detention and rehabilitation center for people in a state of intoxication - a "sobriety center".

During the medical examination, no injuries were found on the body of this citizen.

Later, the daughter of this citizen came to the "sobriety center" and, violating public order, used various abusive words against the employees and tried to inflict bodily harm on them.

"The situation that arose was resolved by the employees in accordance with the procedure established by law, and no special means (handcuffs, rubber batons, electroshockers) were used against the citizens," the report says.

Currently, pre-investigation actions are being carried out in order to provide a legal assessment of the actions of all those involved in this case.

According to Article 22 of the Law "On Internal Affairs Bodies", if non-forceful methods do not ensure the fulfillment of the duties assigned to an internal affairs officer, he has the right to use physical force in the following cases:

* to suppress crimes and administrative offenses;

* to take persons who have committed crimes or administrative offenses to the nearest internal affairs body or other law enforcement body and detain them;

* to eliminate resistance to the lawful requirements of an internal affairs officer.

It is prohibited to use physical force against women with visible signs of pregnancy, persons with visible signs of disability, and minors whose age is clearly visible or known.
