A list of 162 natural sites with high potential for active tourism has been formed
The Tourism Committee has developed a draft resolution defining measures for the development of active types of tourism.
A list of 162 natural objects with high potential for active tourism has been compiled.
It was reported that this project focuses on the following areas: the priority of ensuring the life, health and safety of tourists; diversification of tourist services, taking full advantage of the natural and geographical potential of the regions; introduction of international and national safety standards; gradual digitization and simplification of permit procedures in the field; improvement of the system for training qualified guides; as well as support for business entities and non-profit organizations.
A list of 162 natural objects with high potential for active tourism has been compiled. They are grouped into 5 regions: Tashkent region (77), Surkhandarya region (30), Samarkand region (22), Kashkadarya region (20) and Jizzakh region (13).
The list includes 88 mountains and mountain ranges, 21 lakes, 20 waterfalls, 18 caves and grottos, as well as 15 peaks. The type, region of location, and geographical coordinates of each object are specified.
