Tourism Committee and Parachute Federation discuss cooperation.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Head of the Tourism Committee Abdulaziz Akkulov met with Head of the Parachute Sports Federation of Uzbekistan Alexey Borshuk.

During the negotiations, issues of developing extreme and adventure tourism in the country, creating new tourist products in this area, and effectively using existing opportunities were considered.

It is noted that parachute jumping training is currently being held at the "Syrdaryo Central" area in the Syrdarya district. Favorable climatic conditions, a long flight season, and existing infrastructure make Uzbekistan one of the promising areas for the development of extreme tourism.

The meeting also paid special attention to the issues of further popularizing parachute tourism services for foreign and domestic tourists, increasing the tourist attractiveness of the regions by organizing international competitions and festivals.

It was also agreed that the federation will develop relevant proposals on initiatives aimed at improving the legal framework of the industry and developing extreme tourism.
