Zelensky orders Russia to launch 1,000 drone strikes per day
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has tasked the Ukrainian Armed Forces with launching 1,000 drones per day into Russian territory.
"Today I held a Stavka meeting. The main goal is to maximize the production of our own weapons to protect against Russian strikes on Ukraine. The most important thing is to ensure our defense against the Shahid missiles and further strengthen our long-range strikes on Russia. The task is 1,000 drones per day for long-range sanctions against Russia. Currently, our long-range sanctions average 300, and this figure should be even higher," he said.

In early July, Zelenskyy, in an interview with the Financial Times, noted that the main stage of the war had shifted from land and sea to the air, and expressed the opinion that it was the "battle in the sky" that would decide the fate of the conflict.
"When not a hundred, but a thousand drones fly towards Moscow, then he [Vladimir Putin] will understand. When he begins to feel it personally, when he begins to see it with his own eyes... his advisers will persuade him to move beyond the Urals. The further Putin moves from Moscow, the closer the end of the war will be," Zelenskyy said.
