The accident reportedly occurred in a service car belonging to the governor, Gayratjon Eshpulatov, and his minor son was driving it. The father and son were seriously injured and taken to the Jizzakh branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Care.
Zafarabad district khokim got into an accident – source
Gayratjon Eshpulatov, the khokim of the Zafarabad district of the Jizzakh region, was reportedly involved in a traffic accident on August 30 in his KIA Seltos service car. According to two independent sources of Kun.uz, the car crashed into the back of a large truck. It is also said that the khokim's son, who is a schoolboy, was driving the car.
According to the source, the injured father and son were initially taken to the Zafarabad district medical association. However, due to their serious condition, they were taken by ambulance to the branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Care in the city of Jizzakh.
For information, Gayratjon Eshpulatov has been serving as the khokim of the Zafarabad district since March 5, 2024. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Khokim of Pakhtakor District for Agriculture and Water Resources.
