Zafar Khashimov has headed the group for developing the concept of the human capital development strategy

A working group is being formed under the Presidential Administration to develop a concept for the strategy of human capital development and lifelong learning. It will include entrepreneurs, specialized professionals, scientists, and international experts. Zafar Khashimov will head the group on a voluntary basis.

A special working group is being established under the Presidential Administration to develop a nationwide concept for the human capital development and lifelong learning strategy.

On a voluntary basis, it will be headed by entrepreneur and founder of the korzinka.uz supermarket chain, Zafar Khashimov. This was announced by the President's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.

"The group will include entrepreneurs with experience in establishing educational institutions and effective systems, specialized experts, scientists, and international experts," he noted.

Earlier, it was reported that a single Ministry of Education and Science would be created in Uzbekistan to replace two ministries. By presidential decree, the task has been set to apply new approaches to improve the quality of education and bring the sector to a new level, develop education taking into account market demands, strengthen competition, and expand private sector participation.
