Worker jailed for five days for harassing minor girl in Navoi province
A worker for Toza Hudud (Clean Territory), the government agency in charge of sanitation and solid waste management, in Kiziltepa district of Navoi province, has been sentenced to five days in jail for harassing a minor girl.
Law enforcement officials determined that the man, identified by the initials U.N., 24, had met the girl through the social network Instagram.
On September 19, 2026, U.N. told the girl that she had a delivery order and asked her to come to a shop in the district. When she arrived, he asked her to get into a Damas car he was driving.
Inside the car, U.N. said that although he had introduced himself on Instagram as Temur, his real name was different. He also said he had a wife and two children. He then told the girl he had fallen in love with her, took her by the hand and made sexually suggestive remarks.
"After this, my daughter went into shock and tried to get out of the car. But the man grabbed her by the hand and wouldn't let her," the girl's mother said in her testimony.
The court found U.N. guilty under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code and sentenced him to five days of administrative detention.
