The winners of the prestigious "Emmy" award in the field of television were announced on the night of September 15 in Los Angeles.
The medical series "The Pitt," presented by the American platform HBO Max, won a total of six "Emmy" awards in various categories. In particular, the project won the "Best Drama Series" nomination for the second consecutive year.
Noah Wyle, who played the lead role in the series, also won the "Emmy" for best actor in a drama series for the second consecutive year. Ernest Harden Jr. was named the best guest actor.
"The Pitt" also received awards in the categories of best casting for a drama series and best prosthetic makeup.
The "Emmy" for best actress in a drama series was awarded to American actress Rhea Seehorn for her role in the series Pluribus ("One of Many"). Allison Janney was named best supporting actress for her role in the series "The Diplomat."
HBO Max's DTF St. Louis, which tells the story of a middle-aged love triangle and its tragic end, won in the "Best Limited Series" nomination.
The award for best actor in a limited series went to Matthew Rhys for his performance in the project The Beast in Me.
Widow's Bay was named the best comedy series of the year.
