This summer, viewers have been treated to a variety of exciting TV series, from thrillers and detectives to dark comedies and family dramas. Below is a list of the most notable new projects of the season, including both premieres that have already caused a stir, and works that have so far escaped the attention of many, but are still worthy of attention.

At the same time, a serial killer nicknamed "The Traveler" begins to terrorize the city. An ordinary childhood story turns into a disturbing thriller.

The series was created by Ryan Murphy in collaboration with the writer, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Bret Easton Ellis. The main roles are played by the children of 1980s celebrities: Kaia Gerber plays Susan, and Richard Gere's son Homer plays Robert. The dark academic setting is contrasted with sunny Los Angeles landscapes, and the music of Troye Sivan and popular songs from the 1980s enhance the nostalgic mood.
