Wildberries to build a major logistics complex in Uzbekistan for $140 million

A modern Wildberries logistics hub will be built in the Tashkent region. The Russian marketplace and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan have signed an agreement to implement the project.

The document was signed following the III Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia, which took place in Fergana on October 6. The meeting was attended by representatives from all regions of Uzbekistan and 17 regions of Russia, as well as about 400 entrepreneurs from both countries.

The Wildberries project is intended to be implemented in the Tashkent region in 2027–2028. It involves a modern complex with an area of 180,000 square meters. The investment volume is estimated at $140 million.

In total, four agreements were signed following the forum. One of them is related to the construction of the Wildberries logistics complex. The remaining agreements concern cooperation between the Fergana and Omsk regions, the Surkhandarya region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as the Namangan region and Dagestan.

Earlier, the Wildberries press service commented on the inclusion of its representatives in the supervisory board of the national postal operator UzPost.
