Which tourism startups will receive government support?

Each year, the top 10 tourism projects will receive a subsidy of 50% of the costs of developing and implementing new tourism services—up to 1 billion soums per project. To receive support, companies must submit a business plan and demonstrate the startup's novelty and demand.

Here's the rewritten text of the news:

**State Support for Innovative Tourism Startups: Who Will Receive Subsidies?**

According to the new Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 443 of August 18, 2026, the administrative regulations governing the provision of state subsidies have been approved. These funds are intended to partially reimburse costs associated with the implementation of innovative tourism services.

In accordance with the previously adopted Resolution PP-348 of November 19, 2025, ten of the most promising projects will be eligible for subsidies annually. The amount of support is 50% of the costs of developing and launching new types of tourism services, but the amount cannot exceed 1 billion soums per project.

Expense reimbursement payments will be made by the Tourism Committee. Applicants will be able to receive subsidies through government service centers or the Unified Portal of Interactive Government Services (EPIGU).

It is important to note that subsidies are only available to companies that have no outstanding taxes and are not in bankruptcy or liquidation. Furthermore, the same project can receive financial support no more than once per calendar year.

The selection process includes an interview, which is scheduled no later than five business days after the invitation is sent. The interview can be held in person or via videoconference, during which the applicant must present a business plan for their project. A committee will then review the startup's funding feasibility within ten business days.

The key criteria for a positive project evaluation are its novelty and relevance to the tourism industry.
