What weather awaits Uzbekistanis on the weekend

Uzhydromet has presented the weather forecast for the weekend — September 18-20.

Today and tomorrow, predominantly clear and warm weather will persist across the territory of Uzbekistan.

The air temperature is expected to be within 17-20 degrees at night, 31-34 degrees during the day, and up to 35-37 degrees in the south and the desert zone, which is 2-4 degrees above the climatic norm for the second half of September.

On Sunday, September 20, an increase in cloud cover and a decrease in daytime temperatures by 2-3 degrees are forecast across the territory of Uzbekistan, with the exception of the southern regions. Short-term rain is possible only in some mountainous areas of the Namangan and Fergana regions.

In the desert zone and mountainous areas of the republic on September 20, wind gusts may increase up to 13-18 m/s, with dusty ground winds in some areas.

In Tashkent, light, at times variable cloudiness is expected, with no precipitation. The temperature at night will be 18-20 degrees, during the day on September 18-19 — 32-34 degrees, and on September 20 — 30-32 degrees. The wind will be easterly, 3-8 m/s.
