"Welcome to the new school year at Hogwarts" – New trailer for the "Harry Potter" series released (video)

HBO has released the second teaser trailer for the "Harry Potter" series, which is scheduled to premiere at Christmas 2026.

The new video shows all the main events from the book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". It depicts the journey to the school of witchcraft on the special Hogwarts Express train, the sorting ceremony into houses, as well as a Quidditch match and the battle with the troll.

In the series, the main character Harry Potter is played by Dominic Maclaughlin. His loyal friends Ron and Hermione are portrayed by Alastar Stout and Arabella Stanton. The first season, named after the book, consists of eight episodes. The project will be presented to viewers on HBO and the HBO Max streaming platform.

It is reported that work on the second season of the series has already begun, with filming set to start in the autumn of this year.
