"We are ready for war, but there will be no winners in it" - Putin on Russia's potential conflict with Europe

If a military conflict arises between Russia and Europe, there will be no winners. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this at a press conference held after the Russia-Africa Forum.

"Whether this is true or not, many are talking about the need to prepare for war by 2030. First of all, we are ready. But we do not want any war with Europe. If someone wants war, please, let them go ahead and prepare," he said.

Putin emphasized that the West has failed to achieve its goal of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, and it is unlikely to achieve it by 2030 either.

"If the situation goes too far, there will be absolutely no winners. Let no one forget this," the Russian president added.

He also stated that Russia remembers the lessons learned from the First and Second World Wars and that all measures are being taken to prevent such events from repeating.
