Uzum Market announced that its operations are gradually being restored

Uzum Market has begun gradually resuming its operations after limited access following October 8.

"The warehouse is already assembling orders and will soon start accepting goods under the waybills of October 7, 8, and 9. Pick-up points across the country are operating as usual: customers can collect their orders by providing the number from the SMS or the name of the person under whose name the order was placed. Sellers can also drop off goods at points where this service is available for delivery to the warehouse. The storage periods for orders at pick-up points have been extended. We will additionally announce the restoration of the website, application, and the sellers' personal accounts," the message says.

The company attributed the technical outage that affected the platform's operation to the process of testing new infrastructure ahead of the high season.

"The data of all marketplace users and partners is securely protected: it is stored and processed in accordance with cybersecurity requirements and the legislation of Uzbekistan," the company's comment emphasizes.

"We understand that the stability of the platform directly affects the business of our partners. Uzum Market will compensate the owners of pick-up points operating under the franchise for lost profits, and for sellers, logistics and storage of goods will be free until the end of October. Our users who could not receive their orders due to the malfunction will receive promo codes for their next purchases on Uzum Market. We apologize to buyers and sellers for the inconvenience," the message says.
