Uztelecom signed five agreements on the development of IT literacy within the framework of ICT Week 2026
Uztelecom signed five agreements in the field of education with SKOLKOVO University, Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent, Coursera, the IT Education Association, and the Center for the Development of Artificial Intelligence at the ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 exhibition. The company is creating its own system for training specialists and is involving international partners for this purpose.

Data centers, a national cloud platform, and next-generation communication networks require specialists that the labor market does not prepare in advance. Within the framework of ICT Week, Uztelecom launched two data centers, and by the end of the year, their number will reach five. Training personnel for the digital economy is also defined in the "Digital Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy.
"Infrastructure and competencies rise together, or they do not rise at all. A data center can be built in a year. An engineer who notices in time that a system is making an error cannot be trained in a year,"

Uztelecom, together with the SKOLKOVO Moscow School of Management, is establishing a corporate university. The school will integrate the architecture of educational programs, which will include additional professional education, leadership, and corporate courses for managers and specialists. Not only company employees but also its clients and partners will be able to study at the university.
The cooperation is not limited to education. The parties will jointly develop and launch digital products for corporate and private clients in Uzbekistan, and they plan to localize solutions, including establishing support for the Uzbek language and integrating them with national digital systems.
Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent will demonstrate to Uztelecom engineers how its solutions work in the telecommunications sector, organize seminars, demonstration sessions, and analyze real implementations. The companies will also exchange experience on practices ranging from employee assessment to mentoring. The memorandum is valid until the end of 2028.
Coursera will integrate its courses into the Uztelecom educational platform. A pilot program for professional development will be launched for the company's managers and specialists, the content will be adapted for the local audience, and learning outcomes will be tracked through Learning Analytics. Later, the project may also be expanded for corporate clients.
