Any navigator plans a route based on available data and assumptions. Seeing cars slow down on the street, it concludes that a traffic jam has formed. But it does not know exactly what is happening at the intersection — the traffic light is an invisible object both for it and for the driver three blocks away. Hamroh, however, works differently: it is connected to the system that controls these traffic lights.
Work on digitalizing the road infrastructure is underway in Tashkent. Out of 938 traffic light controllers, 442 are already connected to the unified traffic management system, along with 2,652 transport traffic lights and 1,326 poles. Some of the equipment will have to be completely replaced: old traffic lights can neither transmit data nor receive commands; they only count seconds.
A digital intersection operates not by schedule, but according to the situation: the system sees how many cars are in each lane and changes the signals itself. In addition, the system allows seeing an incident in the city immediately as it happens, rather than in the next day's report.
"This system allows monitoring and optimizing traffic flows across the entire city in real-time, preventing traffic jams, and thereby managing road traffic. For example, it is possible to control a specific intersection locally, giving priority to public transport, ambulances, and fire trucks," said Ramiz Mingazov, Deputy Director of TelecomSoft.
Hamroh shows not just traffic jams, but the actual road situation — road load, traffic accidents, and the operating status of traffic lights. You will see not only where movement is difficult, but also how much time is left until the green light turns on at the nearest intersection.
A large fleet cannot be managed efficiently manually. The Hamroh B2B cabinet aggregates all data on a single screen: which car needs insurance, which one is due for technical inspection, what payments need to be made, and what to focus on right now. An entire fleet, from a single car to a thousand, can be controlled without missing deadlines and without unnecessary errors.
