UzLiDeP and the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan have become partners

The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) and the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) have concluded a memorandum of cooperation. The signing took place on September 5 in Tashkent during a meeting with the Tajik delegation, which was led by the First Deputy Chairman of the PDPT, Maliksho Nematzoda.

According to the document, the parties intend to establish a permanent inter-party dialogue, exchange experience in the field of lawmaking, and develop contacts between deputies and representatives of local government bodies of the two countries. Within the framework of the agreement, it is planned to launch joint initiatives to support entrepreneurship, develop innovations, and strengthen ties between youth and women's organizations. To accomplish these tasks, it is proposed to create joint working groups, as well as to regularly hold forums, consultations, and thematic meetings.

Representatives of the parties noted that the inter-party cooperation is based on the Treaty on Alliance Relations, which entered into force in March 2025, as well as on the agreements between the leaders of the two states, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon, on deepening the strategic partnership.
