Uzbekistan's metallurgical industry exceeds 183 trillion soums in 6 months

The main part of this network fell into 2 regions

The metallurgical industry of Uzbekistan reached a volume of more than 183 trillion soums in the first six months of 2026.

According to data provided by the National Statistics Committee, the total volume of the metallurgical industry in Uzbekistan in the period from January to June 2026 amounted to about 183 trillion soums.

This result indicates an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period in 2025. The main share of industrial production fell on the Navoi and Tashkent regions.

In particular, the volume of the metallurgical industry in Navoi region reached 120.7 trillion soums, while products worth 44.9 trillion soums were produced in Tashkent region.

The volume of the metallurgical industry in Tashkent city amounted to 10.3 trillion soums. Products worth 4.8 trillion soums were produced in Samarkand region.

Other regions also recorded significant figures: in Namangan, this figure was 659.8 billion soums, in Syrdarya - 621.4 billion soums, and in Jizzakh - 262.6 billion soums.

In Fergana region, the volume of the metallurgical industry amounted to 236.7 billion soums, in Bukhara - 185.4 billion soums, and in Surkhandarya - 126 billion soums.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, metallurgical products worth 67.8 billion soums were produced, in Andijan - 42.6 billion soums, in Khorezm - 26.8 billion soums, and in Kashkadarya - 16.6 billion soums.
