In January–June 2026, the volume of production in the metallurgical industry of Uzbekistan reached almost 183 trillion soums.

In the first half of 2026, Uzbekistan's metallurgical industry produced goods worth nearly 183 trillion soums. According to the National Statistics Committee, this is 1.3% higher than the same period last year.
Navoi Region led in production, producing 120.7 trillion soums worth of metallurgical products in the first six months. Tashkent Region ranked second with 44.9 trillion soums.
In the capital, Tashkent, metallurgical production reached 10.3 trillion soums. Samarkand Region followed with 4.8 trillion soums and Namangan Region with 659.8 billion soums.
In the Syrdarya region, production amounted to 621.4 billion soums, in the Jizzakh region – 262.6 billion soums, and in the Fergana region – 236.7 billion soums.
Enterprises in the Bukhara region produced metallurgical products worth 185.4 billion soums. In the Surkhandarya region, this figure reached 126 billion soums.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, production volume amounted to 67.8 billion soums. In the Andijan region, production amounted to 42.6 billion soums, and in the Khorezm region – 26.8 billion soums.
The lowest production volume among the regions was recorded in the Kashkadarya region – 16.6 billion soums.
Thus, in January–June 2026, the bulk of Uzbekistan’s metallurgical production was concentrated in the Navoi and Tashkent regions, as well as in the city of Tashkent, while the total production volume in the country demonstrated an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period in 2025.
