Uzbekistan's fruit and vegetable exports exceeded $1 billion.
The Statistics Committee reported that Uzbekistan exported $1 billion worth of fruit and vegetable products from January to July 2026, with a 0.4% increase in physical volume.

According to the Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, from January to July 2026, the country supplied 1,283,900 tons of fruit and vegetable products to international markets, with a total value of $1,025,400,000.
Compared to the same period in 2025, when exports reached 1,278,500 tons worth $1,066,600,000, this represents a 0.4% increase in physical volume. However, in monetary terms, exports decreased by 3.9%. The share of fruit and vegetable products in Uzbekistan's total exports was 5.1%. Fruit exports declined from 290,800 tonnes to 251,000 tonnes, while revenue decreased slightly from $330.8 million to $308.0 million. Within the fruit export structure, peach exports increased from 87,900 to 92,300 tonnes, leading to revenue growth from $80.5 million to $91.7 million. Meanwhile, dried grape shipments decreased from 54,600 to 51,600 tonnes.
Significant declines were recorded in cherry exports (from 34,300 to 25,200 tonnes) and apricot exports (from 61,000 to 26,400 tonnes). Grape exports decreased from 29.5 to 37.8 thousand tons, but revenue from them, on the contrary, increased from $24.9 million to $28.9 million. The volume of dried prune exports decreased from 23.5 to 17.7 thousand tons, while revenue remained at $33.0 million.
Unlike fruit, vegetable exports showed growth: the volume increased from 484.2 to 539.6 thousand tons, and revenue increased from $165.9 million to $200.5 million. The main contribution to this growth was made by the supply of onions, the volume of which increased from 284.0 to 304.1 thousand tons, and revenue - from $79.7 million to $89.3 million. Exports of cabbage (from 126.9 to 139.4 thousand tons), tomatoes (from 30.8 to 33.0 thousand tons) also increased. Carrots (from 39.2 to 57.5 thousand tons) and garlic (from 3.4 to 5.6 thousand tons).
Among other categories, melon and watermelon exports decreased slightly from 175.7 to 173.9 thousand tons, while revenue increased from $41.9 million to $55.1 million. Peanut and nut shipments decreased in volume from 13.1 to 13.3 thousand tons, while revenue increased from $31.2 million to $30.3 million. Mung bean exports increased from 33.6 to 35.7 thousand tons, while revenue increased from $32.1 million to $33.9 million.
