Uzbekistan's exports for the period January–July 2026 reached $17.1 billion, a 32% increase compared to the same period last year. During these seven months, Uzbek goods were shipped to 120 countries, with Uzbek exporters entering five new markets. This data was provided by the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
New destinations for Uzbek exports included Sudan, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Honduras, and Mauritius.
The main drivers of export growth were textiles, fruits and vegetables, jewelry, construction materials, food products, and electrical goods.
At the same time, the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade (MIIT), in cooperation with relevant agencies, continues to support local exporters and promote Uzbek products in international markets.
During the seven-month reporting period, 1,141 entrepreneurs received financial assistance from the Trade Facilitation Fund. As part of pre-export financing, $136.5 million was allocated to 113 enterprises, enabling them to supply products worth a total of $1.53 billion.
Resolving difficulties faced by entrepreneurs during their export activities remains an important aspect of their work. From January to July, export headquarters reviewed 3,044 requests from business representatives. Of these, 2,547 requests, or 84% of the total, were successfully resolved.
MIPT continues its efforts to expand the geography of export deliveries, increase the volume of high-value-added product exports, and improve government support mechanisms for entrepreneurship.
