Uzbekistan's agricultural sector to receive additional protection in courts

Fruit and vegetable producers and processors, as well as greenhouse enterprises in Uzbekistan, will receive an additional opportunity to defend their interests in court. The Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex will be able to represent their interests without paying state fees.

Corresponding amendments have been made to the Law "On State Duty".

Under the new regulations, the agency is exempt from paying state fees when applying to civil and economic courts to protect its own rights and legitimate interests, as well as the interests of the specified participants in the agricultural sector.

This applies to lawsuits, applications, complaints, and other appeals related to the protection of producers and processors of fruit and vegetable products and greenhouse enterprises.

Thus, the agency will be able to protect the interests of these agricultural market participants in legal disputes without additional expenses on state fees.

, in the first half of 2026, 338.9 trillion soums were invested in the economy and social sphere of Uzbekistan. The largest share of investments went to industry, agriculture, and construction.
