Uzbekistanis will have free admission to all museums until August 8

Within the framework of the museum week, which will last from September 2 to September 8, admission to state museums, museum-reserves, and house-museums under the system of the Cultural Heritage Agency will be free for citizens of Uzbekistan. The number of museums with free admission is 114.

From September 2 to September 8 of this year, "Museums Week" will be organized in state museums, museum-reserves, and house-museums under the system of the Cultural Heritage Agency.

It is reported that during this week, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit a total of 114 state museums and museum-reserves within the agency's system free of charge.

"This week is an excellent opportunity to get closely acquainted with history, art, and our national heritage, and to obtain new information about unique exhibits and ancient monuments," the official statement says.

The agency has invited everyone to the open doors days being organized during this week.

For information, Museums Week has been held annually in Uzbekistan from August 2 to 8 since 2014. In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, free entry for the population to state museums during these days is established within the framework of the week.
