Uzbekistanis spent 30.7 trillion soums on education in 8 months
In January–July 2026, education services worth 30.7 trillion soums were provided in the country. This figure is 19.4 percent higher compared to the same period in 2025.
By region, the largest volume was recorded in the city of Tashkent. In the capital, educational services amounted to 16.7 trillion soums.
In Samarkand region, the volume of educational services reached 2 trillion soums. In Fergana region, this figure was 1.9 trillion soums.
Educational services worth 1.5 trillion soums were provided in Namangan region, 1.4 trillion soums in Andijan region, and 1.3 trillion soums in each of Tashkent and Bukhara regions.
In Kashkadarya region, the volume of services amounted to 1.1 trillion soums, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 851.7 billion soums, and in Surxondarya region — 800.7 billion soums.
In Khorezm region, educational services amounted to 786.2 billion soums, and in Navoiy region — 480.6 billion soums. Educational services worth 406.5 billion soums were provided in Jizzakh region, and 299.1 billion soums in Syrdarya region.
