The Uzbekistan youth national football team suffered a 0-2 defeat against the Chinese team in a friendly match played as part of preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Summer Asian Games.

The goals for the Chinese national team were scored in the 28th and 83rd minutes of the match.

The Uzbekistan U23 team is led by Ravshan Khaydarov. At the tournament, the Uzbek footballers will play in Group C alongside the national teams of the Philippines, Kuwait, and Vietnam.

Uzbekistan will play its first group stage match on September 15 against the Philippines. The match will kick off at 15:30 local time at the CS Asset Minato Soccer Stadium in Nagoya.

On September 18 at 19:00, the Uzbek team will face Kuwait. This match will also take place at the CS Asset Minato Soccer Stadium.

The Uzbekistan national team will play its final group stage match on September 22 against Vietnam. Kick-off is at 14:00 at the Paloma Mizuho Rugby Stadium in Nagoya.

In the other Group C matches, Vietnam will play Kuwait on September 15, the Philippines will face Vietnam on September 18, and the Philippines will play Kuwait on September 22. All matches on September 15 and 18 will be held at the CS Asset Minato Soccer Stadium, and the Philippines vs. Kuwait match on September 22 will take place at the same arena.
