Uzbekistan to introduce criminal liability for illegal combat sports competitions

In Uzbekistan, criminal liability is being introduced for the illegal organization and conduct of combat sports competitions. The corresponding law was approved by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis. At the same time, administrative liability is prescribed for participation in illegal competitions. The new regulations are aimed at strengthening liability for holding events related to combat sports outside the legally established procedure.
