Uzbekistan's taekwondo athletes won 17 medals at the World Cup in Spain

The national team of Uzbekistan performed successfully at the ITF Taekwondo World Cup, which took place in Benidorm, Spain. Nearly 2.7 thousand athletes from 57 countries participated in the competition, with Uzbekistan represented by 37 athletes.

Athletes from Uzbekistan won 17 medals, and in the overall team standings, the national team took sixth place, placing among the tournament leaders.

Following the results of the competition, Uzbekistani taekwondo athletes won five gold, four silver, and eight bronze medals.

In the summer, the national team of Uzbekistan also took 12 medals at an international taekwondo tournament in Seoul.
