Uzbekistan is studying the British experience in inspecting pharmacies

Uzbek specialists held discussions with a representative of the British organization General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) on modern approaches to pharmacy inspections and the implementation of a risk-based control system.

The online meeting took place on November 4 with the participation of employees from the Center for Good Practices under the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

During the conversation, the parties touched upon mechanisms for supervising pharmacy operations, the use of risk assessment in planning inspections, as well as opportunities for improving control procedures.

In addition, the participants discussed prospects for further professional exchange and the identification of areas for practical cooperation between the relevant organizations of the two countries.
