Uzbekistan plans to establish aviation fuel supplies from China

On August 14, the company's chairman of the board Abdugani Sanginov received a delegation led by the Chinese ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Xun.
The meeting discussed cooperation between the two countries, including the steadily developing strategic joint investment projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as new promising areas.
Uzbekneftegaz is implementing a number of projects in the field of geological exploration, well drilling, provision of services and introduction of modern technologies with such large Chinese companies as CNPC, CCDC, BGP, Jereh, Honghua.
The possibility of long-term supplies of Jet A-1 aviation fuel from China to diversify imports and form a sustainable aviation fuel supply system for Uzbekistan was one of the main topics of the meeting.
In this regard, the parties considered the possibility of the Chinese Embassy in Tashkent facilitating the establishment of direct cooperation between Uzbekneftegaz and China National Aviation Fuel Group (CNAF) and Sinopec.
At the end of the negotiations, the parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in the energy sector and implement new investment and technological projects.
