Uzbekistan is preparing to participate in the COP31 conference
The meeting discussed issues of comprehensive preparation of Uzbekistan for the major international climate conference. In particular, the participants reviewed the following areas:
🔹 Uzbekistan's main priorities and initiatives in the field of climate change;
🔹 presentation of national projects and achieved results;
🔹 preparation of delegation events and the business program;
🔹 establishing cooperation with international partners;
🔹 information and media coverage of the country's participation.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to shaping a unified communication agenda that will allow broadly presenting Uzbekistan's climate initiatives, national measures on climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as its contribution to achieving global climate goals to the international community.
In conclusion, future tasks and priorities for joint work were defined.
The COP31 conference will serve as an important platform for strengthening international cooperation and promoting Uzbekistan's initiatives on the climate agenda internationally.
