Uzbekistan-Iran friendly match — in Gazeta photo report

The Uzbekistan national team played a friendly match against Iran and won with a score of 3:1. While Eldor Shomurodov scored a brace, Husayin Norchayev extended the lead close to the end of the match. The change on Iran's scoreboard came courtesy of an own goal by Jahongir Orozov. On September 24, at the "Istiqlol" stadium in Fergana, the Uzbekistan national team faced Iran in a friendly match and won with a score of 3:1. Eldor Shomurodov (brace — 10th and 58th minutes, the second goal from a penalty) and Husayin Norchayev (90+4) scored the goals for the hosts. Meanwhile, Uzbek defender Jahongir Urozov, a player of Kazan's "Rubin" club, scored an own goal (49th minute).
