Uzbekistan exports raisins worth $60 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan exported a total of 47.7 thousand tons of raisins to 57 foreign countries in January-June 2026. The total value of these exports amounted to $60 million. Compared to the same period last year, the volume of exports increased by 704.5 tons.

The main buyer of Uzbek raisins was Kazakhstan, which supplied 15.2 thousand tons of products to this country. China came in second place (6 thousand tons), and Russia came in third (5.6 thousand tons).

During the reporting period, 3.9 thousand tons of raisins were exported to Turkey, 1.7 thousand tons to Iran, and 1.6 thousand tons to Ukraine. Azerbaijan also imported 1.4 thousand tons, Georgia 1.2 thousand tons, the United Arab Emirates 1.1 thousand tons and Germany 1 thousand tons of Uzbek raisins. Brazil exported 994.2 tons of raisins, while other countries received about 8 thousand tons of products.

According to the UN Comtrade database, in 2024, Uzbekistan exported 53 thousand tons of raisins, ranking seventh in the world in terms of exports of this product.

In 2024, the world's largest exporter of raisins was Turkey, which sold 205.9 thousand tons of products abroad. South Africa exported 81.7 thousand tons, China 76.4 thousand tons and Chile 59.1 thousand tons of raisins. India (55.6 thousand tons) was also among the five largest exporting countries. The United States exported 53.7 thousand tons of raisins, while Uzbekistan exported 53 thousand tons. Argentina (38.5 thousand tons), Greece (15.6 thousand tons) and the Netherlands (12.7 thousand tons) took the next places in the ranking.
