The 3rd round of the Chess Olympiad ended with four victories and two defeats for the teams of Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, the main national teams maintained a one hundred percent result.

The World Chess Olympiad continues in Samarkand. On September 18, the third-round matches took place.
The national teams of Uzbekistan recorded four victories and suffered two defeats.
In the men's competition, the main team of Uzbekistan defeated the Austrian national team with a score of 3:1.
Nodirbek Abdusattorov drew with Kirill Alekseenko, and Nodirbek Yakubboev drew with Lukas Dotzer. Javokhir Sindarov defeated Felix Blohberger, and Mukhiddin Madaminov defeated Valentin Baidetskyi.
The US national team, considered the favorite of the competition, defeated Denmark with a score of 2.5:1.5. The Indian national team, one of the contenders for victory, defeated Italy with a score of 3:1. Meanwhile, China defeated Bulgaria with a score of 3.5:0.5.
The Uzbekistan-2 team lost to Germany with a score of 1.5:2.5. Uzbekistan-3 confidently defeated the chess players of Morocco with a score of 3.5:0.5.
In the women's competition, the main national team of Uzbekistan also continued the tournament with a victory.
Uzbekistan-1 defeated Indonesia with a score of 3:1. While Afruza Khamdamova and Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova ended their games in a draw, Umida Omonova and Nilufar Yakubbaeva defeated their opponents.
The second women's national team lost to Spain with a score of 1:3. Uzbekistan-3 achieved a major victory over Saudi Arabia with a score of 4:0.
As a reminder, as the host of the competition, Uzbekistan is participating with three teams each in the men's and women's tournaments.
The 4th-round matches will be held on September 19.
The 46th World Chess Olympiad will continue in Samarkand until September 27.
